Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add bananas and eggs.
Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Add alternately with buttermilk. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
(Raisins and/or dates may be added with nuts just before putting in pan.)
