Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. softened margarine
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix flour with soda.
Combine margarine, the sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in a large mixing bowl.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs and gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in chips and nuts (batter will be stiff).
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 7 dozen.
For chocolate chocolate chip cookies, substitute instant chocolate pudding.
