Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
1-1/2 Tbsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups milk
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup finely chopped jalapenos
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
Preparation

Mix cornmeal, sugar and salt in a bowl.
Scald milk and pour over.
Cool to lukewarm.
Mix in rest of stuff.
Use 9 inch round baking pan, greased.
Bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
