Vegetable-Herb Bread - cooking recipe

1 (1 lb.) loaf frozen prepared bread dough, thawed
3 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced (about 1/2 lb.)
1 small bunch fresh sage leaves (about 1/4 c.)
1/2 small red onion, cut in thin wedges
2 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. kosher or table salt
1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Roll bread dough into 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch rectangle.
Place in jelly roll pan.
With fingertips, firmly press into dough at 1-inch intervals.
Arrange tomato slices, fresh sage leaves and onion wedges on top of bread dough. Sprinkle with oil over vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until browned and crisp.
