Ma And Pa Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. fresh green beans
    1/2 slab of bacon or pork, diced
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    about 10 to 12 red potatoes, peeled and quartered
    salt and pepper to desired taste
Preparation
    Fill very large pot with ingredients.
    Fill with water just above ingredients.
    Cover and bring to boil, then uncover and simmer until green beans darken and soften (about an hour or so)!
