Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. apples, sliced
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 pie shell
    butter (for top)
    allspice (sprinkle on top)
Preparation
    Mix apples sugar and vinegar in a large container.
    Let set for 3 to 4 hours, then bring to a boil.
    Let boil 5 minutes.
    Have shell ready.
    Use enough apples to fill 1 pie shell.
    Put butter on top, then sprinkle allspice over top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until thickened.
    Make more pies with unused apples or put in freezer bags and freeze for later use.
