1 c. butter
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease cookie sheets. Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into creamed mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop dough into rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes.
