Italian Sausage And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
    4 medium-size green peppers, cut into 2-inch pieces
    1 large onion, cut into eighths
    1 (32 oz.) jar meatless marinara sauce
    grated Romano cheese
Preparation
    Brown sausage in a Dutch oven over medium heat; remove and set aside.
    Reserve 3 1/2 tablespoons drippings in Dutch oven, adding vegetable oil if necessary.
    Saute green pepper and onion in reserved drippings until onion is tender.
    Add sausages and marinara sauce; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve on hard rolls or over your favorite hot cooked pasta.
    Sprinkle each serving with grated Romano cheese.
