Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick margarine
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation

Cook sugar, milk, butter and cocoa for 1 1/2 minutes after mixture comes to a boil.
Remove from stove.
Quickly add oats, nuts, peanut butter and vanilla; beat until well blended.
Spoon out onto waxed paper into cookie size portions.
