Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. yeast, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. hot water
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. apples, cut up peeling and all
    1/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs.
    Mix in order given.
    Bake 1 hour in loaf pan at 350\u00b0.
