Pecan Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. flour
    1 stick butter, softened
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Combine cream cheese, flour and butter; squash with fingers until mixed.
    Roll out on a floured board; press rounds into little tart or muffin tins.
    Mix together pecans, brown sugar, egg, melted butter, vanilla and salt.
    Spoon into crusts, filling half full. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes until nicely browned.
    Makes 12 to 24 tarts, depending on size of tins.
