Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 c. and 4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips
nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Cream together\tshortening,
sugars,
vanilla and eggs. Sift flour, soda and
salt.
Stir into creamed mixture;\tblend well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop from teaspoon two inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.\tBake
at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet
about 1 minute, then remove to rack to finish cooling.
Yields
6 to 8 dozen cookies, according to size.
