Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves
    2 c. flour
    1 c. persimmon (ripe pulp)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. shortening or margarine
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients (except soda) together.
    Cream butter, sugar and egg.
    Add soda to persimmon pulp.
    Mix together.
    When completely mixed, fold in raisins and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
