Ingredients

3 3/4 c. flour
1 1/3 c. margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
1 egg yolk
raspberry jam (seedless)
Preparation

Into large bowl, measure flour, butter, sugar, orange juice and egg yolk.
With mixer on medium speed, beat ingredients until well mixed.
Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Use part of dough at a time.
Keep rest covered and refrigerated. Shape dough into balls.
Press deep thumb indentation.
Bake on cookie sheet, about 10 minutes, 5 minutes into baking, pull sheet out and repress down thumbprint.
Bake for rest of 5 minutes.
Take out and fill with a small bit of jam.
Place back in oven for 3 more minutes.
Remove to rack and cool.
