Enchilada Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. fat or drippings
1 Tbsp. flour
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation

Brown onion in hot fat. Stir in flour, then stir in rest of ingredients. Add about 1/2 cup tomato juice (drained from tomatoes) to make a sauce of medium thickness. Let simmer until thickened.
