White Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar (in flour)
    1 tsp. soda, in 2 Tbsp. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Form dough into balls (approximately 1-inch in diameter) and roll just the top in sugar.
    Press lightly with fork and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly brown around the edges.
