Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. grated onion
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
1/4 lb. ground veal
1 c. mashed cooked potatoes
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cream
1/4 c. water
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 Tbsp. Accent
1/4 c. beef broth
Preparation
-
Saute onion in shortening about 5 minutes.
Mix onion with all other ingredients and shape into balls; fry in butter or oil. Drain and place aside.
