Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg, milk and vanilla; mix well.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Chill 1 hour in refrigerator. Roll
    in
    balls and pat out with fingers or can roll out and cut with
    cutter.
    Sprinkle
    with sugar.
    Take off pan as soon as they are done.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until they start to brown around edges.
