Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 c. bananas, mashed
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream shortening, vanilla, sugar and eggs.
Stir in dry ingredients, alternating with milk, vinegar and bananas.
Mix until smooth.
Add nuts.
Spray loaf pan with Pam. Bake for 60 minutes or until top starts to crack down the middle. Can also make muffins; bake for 26 to 30 minutes.
