Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    celery (optional)
    green pepper (optional)
    1 medium shredded cabbage
    1 can tomato soup or 2
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 to 1/3 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Saute onions, celery and green pepper in oleo.
    Add ground beef, salt and pepper.
    Heat through, but do not brown.
    Mix in rice; spread 1/2 of the cabbage in a 2-quart casserole (lightly greased).
    Cover with meat mixture.
    Top with tomato soup over top.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
