Chocolate Chip Cake With Brown Sugar Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine (room temperature)
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
    Brown Sugar Topping
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
    Beat margarine and shortening in large bowl on medium speed, about 30 seconds.
    Beat in sugars and vanilla.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beat on medium speed for 1 minute after each addition. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately to sugar mixture.
    Beat on low speed after each addition.
    Pour into pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool completely.
    Frost with Brown Sugar Topping.
    Refrigerate.
