White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. macadamia nuts (whole or pieces)
    6 oz. white chocolate in small chunks or 6 oz. white chocolate morsels (Nestle)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix butter and sugars together at medium speed.
    Add egg and all other ingredients except nuts and white chocolate.
    Mix until well blended, then add nuts and white chocolate.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets (may use vegetable spray).
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Let cool 5 minutes.
    Transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.
    Makes approximately 4 dozen.
