Christmas Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
Preparation
    Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and baking soda.
    Cream butter; gradually add the sugar, beating until fluffy.
    Add the egg and molasses.
    Beat until blended.
    Add the dry ingredients slowly and mix well until blended.
    Wrap in wax paper.
    Chill overnight. Roll out part of the dough on a floured board.
    Cut out with cookie cutters.
    Repeat this step until the dough is used.
