Round Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine raisins, water and soda.
    Bring to a boil.
    When mixture begins to foam, remove from heat and cool.
    Beat together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Add the raisin mixture alternately with flour to the egg mixture.
    Pour batter into 4 well-greased and floured cans.
    Bake a little over an hour at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 4 servings.
