Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 well beaten eggs
6 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. walnuts (whole or use pecans)
Preparation

Mix ingredients and make into a large roll. Refrigerate overnight. Slice with a sharp knife into very thin slices and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
