Apple Butterscotch Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. biscuit mix
1 c. quick oats
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butterscotch morsels
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (your favorite type)
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 c. applesauce
Preparation

Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Add butterscotch morsels, raisins and nuts; mix well.
Combine egg and milk in a separate bowl; 1 into mixture.
Add applesauce and beat mixture vigorously by hand for 30 seconds.
Pour into a large greased loaf pan (about 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/2-inch) and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
Cool completely before slicing. Serve it for breakfast, dessert, snack or anytime!
