Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1 stick oleo or margarine
1 1/2 c. dates, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

In a heavy saucepan or cast-iron skillet, mix together the first 4 ingredients.
Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 12 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cool slightly and add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies.
Spread on cookie sheet and slice.
These can also be shaped into balls the size of a walnut and roll in coconut.
