Zucchini Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. chopped squash
    2 green and red peppers, chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. salt
    6 onions, chopped
    3 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Heat thoroughly; simmer
    at
    least
    3
    minutes.
    Put in jars and water bath for 5
    minutes.
    Makes
    6 to 7 pints. (Two tablespoons mustard seed may be added if desired.)
