Banana-Honey Bread(Makes 1 Large Loaf) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. All-Bran or a similar bran cereal
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a 2-quart mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt into a large bowl.
Stir in cereal and nuts.
In a small bowl, beat the egg lightly.
Beat in the honey, oil, milk and bananas.
Add banana mixture all at once to dry ingredients and stir until flour is just damp.
Spoon batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until a cake tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Cool the loaf in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from the pan and cool completely.
Wrap in foil or plastic.
This bread freezes well.
