Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. vegetable oil
4 c. sugar
4 c. canned pumpkin
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
2 c. date pieces
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Mix in order listed.
Fill 5 ungreased 1-pound coffee cans a little more than half full of batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
Cool in the cans.
Snap plastic lids on for easy storage.
This freezes very well right in the can.
