Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 egg
    5 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    Blend butter and brown sugar until creamy. Mix in egg. Add flour, about a cup at a time to blend it in. Add baking powder, salt and nuts. Take a hand full of the mixture and roll into a roll about the size of a quarter. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate. (Can be wrapped in aluminum foil and frozen.) To bake, cut into slices and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 11 minutes.
