Pecan Sandies Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    4 Tbsp. vanilla or almond extract
    2 Tbsp. water
    5 c. flour
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 to 1 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix butter, 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, vanilla and water.
    Add flour; mix.
    Add pecans last.
    Roll in balls (rounded teaspoonfuls).
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cool 20 minutes and turn in 1/2 to 1 pound powdered sugar.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
