Perfect White Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 3/4 c. milk, scalded
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
3 Tbsp. soft shortening
7 c. flour, may use part wheat (do not use self-rising)
Preparation

Pour warm water in large bowl and sprinkle with yeast.
Stir until dissolved.
Add sugar, salt, shortening and lukewarm milk to the yeast mixture and beat in about 3 cups flour.
Beat until smooth and falls from spoon in sheets.
With a spoon and 1 hand, mix in enough flour to make dough that pulls away from sides, leaving only small amount sticking to sides.
