Sour Cream Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix together thoroughly the shortening, sugar and eggs.
Stir in the sour cream and vanilla. Sift together the flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir into creamed mixture. Chill dough 1 hour. Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 400\u00b0 about 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
