Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. candied fruit
1 c. candied cherries
Preparation

Mix sugar and margarine well.
Add eggs, flour and cream of tartar; mix well.
Then stir in pecans, candied fruit and cherries.
Roll in a long roll.
Wrap and chill overnight.
Slice about 1/8-inch thick.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
