Schawm Tortes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat egg whites stiff. Add sugar and salt. Fold in vanilla and pecans. Put brown paper on cookie sheet. Drop by spoonful. Bake at 275\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Leave in oven until cool (may leave overnight). Makes approximately 5 dozen.
