Jerome Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    graham crackers
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. graham cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Layer row of graham crackers in glass pan (9 x 13-inch); makes 2 1/2 rows.
    In saucepan, melt the margarine.
    Add sugar, egg and milk.
    Stir constantly over medium-high until it boils.
    Take off and add the coconut, pecans and graham cracker crumbs.
    Stir until mixed.
    Pour over crackers.
    Add another layer of crackers.
    Pat down.
