Apple Date Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Prepare apples, dates and nuts.
    Cream together butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add the well beaten egg and blend until smooth.
    Stir in the fruit and nuts.
    Sift together the dry ingredients and add alternately with the sour milk. (Make sour milk by adding 1/2 teaspoon vinegar to 1/2 cup milk.)
    Place in a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and let stand 10 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
