Homemade Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. active dry yeast or 2 cakes yeast
1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
3 1/2 c. water (85~)
10 to 12 c. Robin Hood flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. soft shortening
Preparation

In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water; add remaining water, sugar, salt, shortening and several cups flour.
Beat with spoon until smooth and batter falls from spoon in sheets.
Mix in (by hand) enough flour until dough cleans the bowl.
