Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    2 tsp. maple flavoring or vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, margarine and light brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
    Sift and measure flour, baking powder and salt.
    To the creamed mixture, add the flour mixture and undiluted evaporated milk.
    Add flavoring or vanilla and mix well.
    Bake in a tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
