Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. white corn meal
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. soft butter
2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation

Pour boiling water over corn meal. Add milk, salt, baking powder and butter. Mix and then add beaten eggs. Pour into buttered 1-quart dish. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes, just until set.
