Favorite Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. ground pecans
Preparation
    Cream margarine.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Add egg.
    Add flour gradually.
    Beat well.
    Add pecans and vanilla.
    Divide into two or three parts and shape into logs.
    Roll in wax paper.
    Chill overnight.
    Cut into 1/8-inch or 1/4-inch slices and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until browned.
    (You can freeze the dough if you prefer.)
