Diabetic Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    chopped nuts
    1 pkg. vanilla or butterscotch instant pudding mix
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and egg.
    Add vanilla.
    Add rest of ingredients and stir in well.
    Mix in 1/2 cup nuts if desired.
    Roll into small balls.
    Put on cookie sheet that is greased and press with a fork in crisscross fashion.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
