24 Hour Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce (crisp), chopped
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. celery, chopped
1 pkg. frozen small peas (do not thaw)
1 small bunch chopped green onions
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 (4 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese
6 to 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preparation

Put in a 9 x 13-inch dish and layer in the following order. Cover and leave overnight in refrigerator.
Do not stir or mix. Lettuce, green pepper, celery, peas (break up frozen ice and peas), onion, add sugar to mayonnaise and frost salad like cake, grated cheese, bacon.
