Applesauce Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. unsweetened applesauce
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 c. whole wheat pastry flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter a 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.
    Mix together the first 5 ingredients.
    Sift together the dry ingredients and stir them into the applesauce mixture just until smooth. Fold in the raisins and nuts.
    Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the center.
