Soft Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. dry milk
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, sugar, molasses and eggs.
    Mix together dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with water.
    Stir well.
    This makes a very soft dough.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
