Glazed Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. apricot jam
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Wash and scrape carrots; cut in diagonal slices.
    Cook, covered, in small amount of boiling, salted water until just tender, about 12 minutes.
    Drain.
