Banana Bread (Loaf) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3 bananas)
Preparation
    Beat shortening until creamy (1 minute at medium speed on mixer).
    Blend in sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with bananas.
    Blend well.
    Grease bottom of a 4 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Turn batter into pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 60 minutes.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Turn onto rack.
