Ranger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. Rice Krispies cereal or 1 c. rolled oats
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut (1 1/3 c.)
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat margarine or butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
    Add 1/2 of flour, the sugars, egg, vanilla, baking powder and soda.
    Beat until mixed good.
    Beat in remaining flour.
    Stir in cereal, coconut and raisins.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute.
    Remove and cool on rack.
    Makes about 54.
