Chocolate Finger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg, slightly beaten (reserve 1 Tbsp.)
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. water
    3 Tbsp. finely chopped almonds
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter and egg.
    Blend well. Stir in flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder.
    Chill dough (at least 1 hour).
    Divide dough into 4 equal parts.
    Shape each into roll 3/4-inches in diameter.
    Place each roll 4-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    (Use 2 cookie sheets.)
    With fork dipped in flour, flatten each roll to 1/4-inch thickness.
